Lever is an attempt to cite and to trouble some of the metaphors inherent in Minimalist Sculpture. This series of ten videos responds to Carl Andre's Lever, a single line of 139 un-joined firebricks that ran across the gallery floor of the Jewish Museum, New York City at its first showing in the 'Primary Structures' show in 1966.
