Monolith  (October 2023 - ongoing)

Interrogating aspects of Iris Murdoch’s 20C philosophy or value systems is often a starting point for me.

I’m especially interested in her ideas about Eros as a kind of force, or magnetism, that draws us towards good (High Eros) and bad (Low Eros) desires and objects, and the way this might join us to a better - or a worse - world.

Considering the invitation that standing stones set up in their potential for interpretation and association through the lens of Murdoch's Eros was the starting points for Monolith.
